Virginia United Methodist Advocate magazine
A major focus of the Communications office is the Virginia United Methodist Advocate, the official conference magazine published monthly throughout the year. The magazine equips, connects and informs Virginia United Methodists by offering in-depth features on topics of interest to United Methodists; religious news from the conference, local churches, the nation and the world; a message from the Bishop; clergy and diaconal personal news; weekly devotionals based on the International Lesson series; tools to help equip congregations for ministry, and much more.
Did you know that the Virginia United Methodist Advocate magazine is older than Time magazine, the New York Times or the Washington Post? Click here to watch a short video featuring Madeline Pillow, Advocate editor, talking about the Virginia Conference monthly magazine.
